SUSS GOOD Incubator

The GOOD Incubator is a Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) platform launched on 26 August 2026 to support founders developing ventures for social and environmental impact, including healthy-longevity solutions. SUSS launched it at the 2026 Geronpreneurship Innovation Festival; the initiative was introduced to more than 400 attendees from Active Ageing Centres, social-service organisations, startups, businesses, research, government and community partners (SUSS, 26 August 2026).

Four pillars and rollout status

The incubator has four complementary pillars. GOODTech supports technology startups developing scalable innovations. GOODBiz supports social enterprises pursuing commercially sustainable solutions with measurable social impact. GOODBridge helps international and local ventures form partnerships and expand into new markets. GOODCause is intended for non-profit organisations seeking to strengthen their impact through innovation (SUSS, 26 August 2026).

At launch, programmes under GOODTech, GOODBiz and GOODBridge were to be rolled out. GOODCause was described as a later-stage part of the incubator's longer-term development. This distinction matters: the announcement established the platform and its intended pillars, but did not say that every pillar was already accepting applications or that every listed support feature was immediately available (SUSS, 26 August 2026).

Who can apply and what support means

The launch announcement says the initiative is open to SUSS full-time, part-time and Continuing Education and Training (CET) students with incorporated startups, and is targeted at ventures ready to scale. Applicants are selected through a pitch to a panel of SUSS representatives, mentors and industry partners. Selected founders receive structured incubation, mentorship and access to industry and community networks; depending on the pillar or track, they may access technology resources, social-service-agency pilots, or partnership and market opportunities in Singapore and the region (SUSS, 26 August 2026).

GOOD Incubator is therefore an institution-led SUSS incubation platform with a stated student-linked eligibility boundary. It is not described as a universal national startup grant, an automatic cash entitlement, or a replacement for the existing SUSS Venture Builder Programme. Its support includes networks, mentorship and real-world testing, and the source does not state that every selected founder receives a fixed cash amount (SUSS, 26 August 2026; suss venture builder programme).

Public funding and national innovation context

SUSS says the incubator is supported by the Ministry of Education through its Innovation & Enterprise Office Decentralised Funding, within the broader Research, Innovation and Enterprise 2030 plan led by the National Research Foundation under the Prime Minister's Office. The announcement connects the incubator's healthy-ageing emphasis with RIE2030's Grand Challenge on maximising healthy and successful longevity (SUSS, 26 August 2026).

Relationship to Pitch for Good

The GOOD Incubator is designed to continue venture development beyond Pitch for Good, SUSS's regional startup competition. In 2026, Pitch for Good received more than 200 applications from 19 countries; 10 finalists from Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines and Hong Kong SAR pitched at the festival. Four awards were reported: Gold S$25,000, Silver S$10,000, People's Choice S$2,000 and a S$10,000 Tzu Chi GLOW Award. These are competition awards and opportunities, not a guaranteed funding package for all GOOD Incubator applicants (SUSS, 26 August 2026).
