PATH Fund Support for Rough Sleepers 2026
MSF's PATH Fund supported 17 community-led projects in 2026 to help rough sleepers move towards stable housing, including tailored initiatives and improvements to interim shelter facilities.
PATH Fund Support for Rough Sleepers 2026
The Partnership to Tackle Homelessness (PATH) Fund supports community-led ideas that help people experiencing rough sleeping move towards stable housing and reintegrate into the community. On 19 August 2026, MSF announced 17 supported projects from the fund’s first application window (MSF, 19 August 2026).
What the first project window supports
Of the 17 projects, 11 pilot new initiatives with more tailored support. MSF describes examples including micro-jobs, apprenticeships and work-readiness training; faster access to stable housing, including structured matching of prospective co-tenants under HDB’s Joint Singles Scheme; and dedicated support for homeless youths through mentoring, family mediation and vocational guidance (MSF, 19 August 2026).
The remaining six projects support community organisations operating Safe Sound Sleeping Places (S3Ps) to improve facilities and provide safer, more conducive interim shelter. PATH therefore funds pilots and service improvements across outreach, employment, housing stability, social reintegration and youth support; it is not described as a direct cash entitlement for every person experiencing homelessness (MSF, 19 August 2026).
PATH, PEERS and the next application window
MSF said the next PATH Fund application window would open in March 2027. The projects were unveiled at the Partners Engaging and Empowering Rough Sleepers (PEERS) Appreciation Event, where MSF also said the PEERS Network had more than 80 community partners, social-service agencies and government organisations. The network is a coordination ecosystem; membership does not itself establish a shelter entitlement or guarantee a housing placement (MSF, 19 August 2026).
This timing means that the first-window project list and the next application date should be treated as dated programme information. It does not imply that every community organisation can apply immediately or that all 17 pilots will continue after their pilot period; subsequent MSF notices are needed for later rounds and outcomes (MSF, 19 August 2026).
