Business Adaptation Grant (BizAdapt)
Enterprise Singapore's time-limited Business Adaptation Grant supports eligible Singapore companies with overseas exposure to adapt operations and supply chains through trade, legal, supply-chain and reconfiguration support.
Business Adaptation Grant (BizAdapt)
The Business Adaptation Grant (BizAdapt) is an Enterprise Singapore scheme that helps eligible companies adapt operations and strengthen supply-chain resilience in response to tariff and external-market pressures. It supports advisory services through pre-approved vendors and selected reconfiguration costs; it is a time-limited business grant, not a general-purpose cash payment or a replacement for every EnterpriseSG scheme (Enterprise Singapore, BizAdapt, accessed 29 August 2026).
What the grant supports
BizAdapt covers four activity areas. Companies may obtain advisory support for free-trade-agreement and trade compliance, legal and contractual matters, and supply-chain optimisation or market diversification. Companies with qualifying local or overseas manufacturing operations may also seek reconfiguration support limited to logistics and inventory-holding costs, including changing suppliers or relocating manufacturing to mitigate tariff impacts (Enterprise Singapore, BizAdapt FAQ, accessed 29 August 2026).
Activities one to three require an EnterpriseSG pre-approved vendor. For reconfiguration, a company may select a vendor of its choice where the activity requirements are met. The grant does not support retrospective applications, and each project may run for no more than 24 months (Enterprise Singapore, BizAdapt, accessed 29 August 2026).
Eligibility and support levels
The company must be registered and operating in Singapore and have at least 30% local equity held directly or indirectly by Singapore citizens or permanent residents. For the advisory activities, it must export to or operate in overseas markets; for tariff-related legal, contractual and supply-chain activities, it must also have been impacted by tariffs. Reconfiguration has additional requirements, including qualifying manufacturing operations requiring reconfiguration support (Enterprise Singapore, BizAdapt, accessed 29 August 2026).
From 1 April 2026, the current BizAdapt programme page states support of up to 70% for SMEs and up to 50% for non-SMEs, subject to an overall grant cap of S$100,000 per enterprise over the scheme period. The enhanced rates and cap describe the maximum support framework; they do not guarantee that an applicant receives the maximum amount or that every proposed cost is eligible. The FAQ page still displays a 50%/30% rate in its duration section, so the figures should be reported with their page and recheck date rather than silently treated as one denominator; applicants should follow the current programme page and EnterpriseSG assessment (Enterprise Singapore, BizAdapt, rechecked 12 September 2026; Enterprise Singapore, BizAdapt FAQ, rechecked 12 September 2026).
Scheme period and application boundary
EnterpriseSG’s FAQ states that BizAdapt operates from 7 October 2025 to 6 October 2027, with applications accepted until 6 October 2027. The current programme page says applications should be submitted no more than six months before the project start date, each application is limited to one activity, group applications are not allowed, and complete applications take approximately 8–12 weeks to process. Applications are made through the Business Grants Portal before the project starts; the company must identify the relevant activity and vendor, prepare supporting documents, and obtain a Letter of Offer before proceeding. This means a company should not sign the consultant or vendor contract, make payment, or start the project before applying if it wants the costs considered for support (Enterprise Singapore, BizAdapt, rechecked 12 September 2026; Enterprise Singapore, BizAdapt FAQ, rechecked 12 September 2026).
