Announced SG Child Support Package (future cohorts and transition)
The Government announced on 23 August 2026 that the Baby Bonus Scheme and Large Families Scheme will be replaced by a uniform SG Child Support Package. The announced maximum is S$62,000 per eligible Singapore Citizen child, comprising a S$10,000 Baby Gift, S$32,000 in Child Credits, a S$5,000 CDA First Step Grant, up to S$5,000 in CDA co-matching, and a S$10,000 PSEA top-up. These are announced future arrangements and must not overwrite the current tables above until the applicable implementation rules take effect (National Population and Talent Division, 23 Aug 2026, accessed 26 Aug 2026).

The announcement also says CDAs for children born on or after 1 January 2015 will be extended through the end of the year they turn 16, and PSEA co-matching for new PSEAs will cease from 1 January 2028. Confirm the legislation, implementation details, and the child’s cohort before calculating an entitlement.
