ECDA Basic and Additional Subsidy maxima
Basic Subsidy applies to Singapore Citizen children in ECDA-licensed infant or childcare centres. Additional Subsidy is means-tested for working main applicants whose gross monthly household income is S$12,000 or below, or whose per capita income is S$3,000 or below in qualifying households of five or more related members at the same address.
| Programme | Working main applicant Basic Subsidy | Working main applicant Additional Subsidy maximum | Non-working main applicant Basic Subsidy |

| Full-day infant care (2–18 months) | S$600 | Up to S$710 | S$150 |
| Full-day childcare (18 months–below 7 years) | S$300 | Up to S$467 | S$150 |
Maximum combined childcare subsidy for a working main applicant at the lowest income tier is therefore S$767 (S$300 + S$467), subject to the applicable minimum co-payment. Source: ECDA subsidy overview, accessed 8 Aug 2026.
