Literature and Publishing

Singapore literature is written chiefly in the four official languages — English, Chinese, Malay, and Tamil — and is supported by the National Arts Council, the National Library Board's bibliographies, the Singapore Book Council, Sing Lit Station, and a small independent publishing sector centred on prizes such as the Singapore Literature Prize and the Golden Point Award.
